War for the Planet of the Apes
War for the Planet of the Apes is a 2017 American science fiction action movie[1] directed by Matt Reeves and written by Mark Bomback and Reeves. It is a sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014).[2] The movie stars Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson and Steve Zahn. A sequel, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, was released in May 2024.
War for the Planet of the Apes was the final Planet of the Apes movie released under 20th Century Fox before Disney's acquisition of the studio.
