Wendy Greuel

Wendy Jane Greuel (born May 23, 1961) is an American Democratic politician. She was born in Los Angeles. She was a member of the Los Angeles City Council from 2002 until 2009. Greuel was also the Los Angeles City Controller from 2009 until 2013.[1]

In 2013, Greuel ran for Mayor of Los Angeles but lost in the run-off to Eric Garcetti.[2] In 2014, she ran for the United States House of Representatives, but lost the Democratic nomination to Ted Lieu.
