Americans United for the Separation of Church and State or "Americans United" for short, is an organization that says that anyone has the freedom of religion, therefore, anyone of any race, gender, last name, or ethnicity can pray to whomever we please. It promotes what it believes is a strong reading of the Establishment clause of the U.S. Constitution. It is headquartered in Washington D.C. and is headed by the Reverend Barry Lynn.
