US Army & slavery in Minnesota history[change source]

In response to this revert. Since the U.S. was founded on slavery and every state that joined had a debate about slavery, this is worth mentioning on each state's page. IWI wrote that "there are plenty of articles about atlantic slavery in the US, and poor treatment of indigenous people. This is the article about the political entity, and having this in the second paragraph of the article is en:WP:UNDUE." This makes no sense, as there are plenty of articles about everything else mentioned here too, and those things are still important to mention because they are important to the history of Minnesota. Please note that the user who reverted this edit regularly spends time patrolling my edits, arguing that slavery and colonialism don't matter on articles where they are very important and relevant. This patrolling began after a failed attempt to have this page deleted. DoSazunielle (talk) 02:15, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Everything I said at Talk:Mitch McConnell outlines my rationale here. --IWI (talk) 02:43, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
