I made a modification to this template, basically when this template is added to a page (subst'd), it triggers the anti-spambot (info at m:User:Eagle 101/Spam). Tests done in my sandbox show that the : is not needed. If there are issues with my change, please by all means undo it, but tell me what the issue is. Cheers! Categories would be one problem with the : missing. I do not know of other namespaces that would have the issue, but categories listed without the : default to their function. A cat entry for {1} would not be read by the template and included in the message but it would activate and categorize the page. It can be fixed if the person issuing the warning adds the : when warning about a cat, but not all users would think to include it. At a minimum, the need for it to be included in special cases should be noted with the information on usage.-- Creol(talk) 07:01, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page link[change source]

I think it is useful to have this template link to the page that was vandalized. Would anyone object to my adding that as an option? One could then tag a vandal's talk page with {{subst:Vandalism|pagename}} to let them know which page edit was thought to be vandalism. --Selket 17:55, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
