RfD nomination of List of countries and territories where Icelandic is an official language[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of List of countries and territories where Icelandic is an official language, a page you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2024/List of countries and territories where Icelandic is an official language and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Thank you. Mastashat (talk) 19:51, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, ThePurgatori, and thank you for your change to Dependent territory. You might not have noticed, but your change added an explanatory footnote template (Template:efn) that has put the page into a couple of maintenance categories. The article needs something to display the footnote. If you look at the bottom of the article, you can see an error message in red text explaining what is needed. Please take care of that, and watch for things like this when you add things to articles. Thanks! -- Auntof6 (talk) 04:00, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
