Chione (or Khione[1]) was the goddess of snow in Greek mythology. She was the daughter of Boreas, the North Wind, and Oreithyia, an Athenian princess and has two mortal brothers and a mortal sister. Unlike her winged brothers and father she has no wings. .[2]
