English: Seen here - L/R Air Commodore (Air Cmdr) John Bissel RAF hands over the command of Joint Force Support (JFSp) to Brigadier (Brig) Martin Moore in a flag change ceremony in Camp Bastion, Helmand, Afghanistan

HQ staff from Joint Force Support (Afghanistan) have conducted a Transfer of Authority ceremony in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Outgoing Commander JFSP (A), Air Commodore John Bessell, observed a flag-lowering with sailor, soldiers, airmen and civilians from his HQ on Saturday. The Joint Force Support flag was then passed to the new Commander JFSP (A), Brigadier Martin Moore, before it was hoisted to mark the handover.

Joint Force Support HQ is responsible for thousands of UK service personnel across Afghanistan and is charged with overseeing the redeployment of equipment and materiel back to Britain.
