COA of municipality of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (Pirynées Atlantiques, France) after blazon of Pierre Haristoy, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Souvenirs historiques et religieux Pau 1897, réimprimé à Nîmes par les éditions Lacour en 1992. Description in spanish at [1]:

  • de gules, un castillo de plata siniestrado de San Juan Bautista en su color carne, vestido de oro, la mano derecha extendida hacia el castillo y teniendo en la izquierda una cruz de oro que porta una banderola de plata cargada de las palabras San Juan en negro. Debajo del castillo, las cadenas de Navarra, y debajo de San Juan, un cordero tumbado, de plata.

This description is slightly different form the one referred by gaso.fr:

  • de gueules au château d'argent senestré de Saint Jean Baptiste de carnation, nimbé et vêtu d'or, la main droite appuyée sur le château et tenant de la main gauche une croix d'or ornée d'une banderole d'argent chargée de l'inscription SAN JUAN en lettres capitales de sable, le château soutenu des chaînes de Navarre d'or se rattachant au centre à une émeraude de sinople, et Saint Jean soutenu d'un agneau couché d'argent as Saint-Jean gives his right hand towards the castle after Haristoy or leaning his hand on the castles, after gaso.
