DescriptionCathedral of Sewage - geograph.org.uk - 676706.jpg
English: Cathedral of Sewage My own view of the Grade I listed Southern Outfall pumping station at Crossness. Home to the four largest beam engines in the country and worthy of a small book in its own right. The building closest is the boiler house, now workshops and exhibition space. In there there is a 1/4" to the foot model of the boiler house as it was latterly (after modernisation). The place has amazing cast iron work too and is well worth a trip to a relatively remote location within the M25's orbit.
