Deutsch: Das Wappen, das man in Grub seit dem frühen 19. Jahrhundert hielt, zeigt in blau den grünen Wald. Vor demselben entsteigt einer Höhle (Grube) ein schwarzer Bär. Um das Wappen näher in Verbindung mit den Wappengesetzen sowohl, als auch mit seinem tiefern Sinne zu bringen, hat man das für Grube bezeichnende schwarze Kreisrund genommen. Da dieses schwarz ist, musste der Bär gelb gemacht werden. Damit unterscheidet er sich von denen in andern Gemeindewappen des Kantons.[1]
