Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde auf Bitten des Schultheißen und des Gerichts mittels eines Wappenbriefs vom 19. Oktober 1537 durch den Ortsherren, den Deutschmeister Walter von Cronberg, verliehen. Ähnlich wie die vom selben Deutschmeister verliehenen Wappen der Stadt Gundelsheim und des 1972 in Bad Mergentheim aufgegangenen Dorfes Markelsheim zeigen auch hier die beiden oberen Felder das Deutschordenskreuz und Bestandteile des cronbergschen Familienwappens. Die untere Schildhälfte mit dem Dreiberg und den Anfangsbuchstaben des Ortsnamens entspricht in den Wappen von Igersheim und Markelsheim einem einheitlichen Schema. Die Flagge wurde am 5. April 1967 vom Innenministerium verliehen.
