Object history
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde Ipsheim besteht seit 1978 aus den ehemals selbstständigen Gemeinden Ipsheim, Eichelberg, Kaubenheim, Mailheim und Oberndorf. Die Vierung weist auf Zugehörigkeit Ipsheims zur Markgrafschaft Brandenburg-Bayreuth. Die Hohenzollern erwarben den Ort 1381 von den Herren von Seckendorff. Die Farben Silber und Rot sind die Farben dieses Adelsgeschlechts und Frankens gleichermaßen. Die Weinblätter stellen die Bedeutung der Gemeinde als Weinort dar. Die Ziegelsteine weisen auf die ehemalige Ziegelhütte in Ipsheim hin.
