Object history
Deutsch: Nüdlingen kam 1394 an das Hochstift Würzburg. Fürstbischof Friedrich von Wirsberg (1558 bis 1573) verlieh dem Ort 1570 ein Wappen, das bis zum späten 18. Jahrhundert im Siegel verwendet wurde. Die Farben Silber und Rot sowie die Mitra verweisen auf die Zugehörigkeit zum Hochstift. Das Schwert stellt wohl das Dorfgericht dar. Das Wappen geriet in Vergessenheit. Die Wiederannahme erfolgte 1963.
