Object history
Deutsch: Das Ortsbild von Ottensoos wird von der befestigten St.-Veits-Kirche geprägt. Dies kommt durch die Wehrkirche im Wappen zum Ausdruck. Auf die einstigen Herrschaftsinhaber im Gemeindegebiet weisen die beiden Schildhälften hin. Die Schräglinksteilung von Rot und Silber erinnert an die Zugehörigkeit zur Reichsstadt Nürnberg, die Rauten von Silber und Blau an die Herrschaft der Kurpfalz und von Kurbayern.
