Object history
Deutsch: Der Wolf ist aus dem Wappen der Herren von Plankenfels, die 1217 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt werden und 1538 erloschen. In ihrem Wappen stand in Silber ein blauer Wolf. Ort und Burg wechselten nach ihrem Aussterben mehrfach den Besitzer. Im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert waren die Herren von Schlammersdorf in Plankenfels ansässig. Daran erinnert der Schrägbalken mit drei Sternen aus ihrem Wappen, das am Schloss von Plankenfels noch zu sehen ist. In Wadendorf waren im 16. Jahrhundert die Herren von Neustätter-Stürmer bgütert, die in ihrem Wappen einen Schachrochen führten.
