Object history
Deutsch: Der Wellenbalken stellt die Lage der Gemeinde an der Rednitz dar. Das Mühlrad weist auf die Bedeutung der Mühlenbetriebe in Rednitzhembach hin. Die Spaltung von Silber und Rot ist dem Wappen der Nürnberger Patrizierfamilie Behaim entnommen, die seit 1603 im Gemeindegebiet begütert waren. Die Farben Silber und Schwarz erinnern an die Zugehörigkeit zum Markgrafentum Brandenburg-Ansbach.
