Object history
Deutsch: Der Adler aus dem Wappen der Reichsstadt Nürnberg erinnert an deren Landeshoheit in Teilen des Gemeindegebiets. Der Mohrenkopf und die Schrägteilung sind dem Wappen der Nürnberger Patrizierfamilie Tucher entnommen, die seit 1598 Grundherren in Simmelsdorf waren. Die Familie beziehungsweise deren Stiftung hat bis heute hier Besitz. Das Schildhaupt erinnert an die Herren von Lochner, die im 15. Jahrhundert in Hüttenbach nachweisbar sind.
