Deutsch: Das Wappen zeigt ein vollständig für den Ortsnamen redendes Bild. Der silberne Schrägbalken steht für Straß- und verweist auf die Lage der Gemeinde am alten, dem südlichen Donauufer folgenden Fernhandelsweg Regensburg-Straubing-Passau. Der Straße ist eine heraldisch stilisierte Kirche mit Spitzturm aufgelegt, die für den Namensbestandteil -kirchen redet und deutlich erkennbar der örtlichen Pfarrkirche nachempfunden ist.
