Object history
Deutsch: Die Schildteilung mit dem silbernen Pfahl im oberen Feld zeigt das Familienwappen der Freiherren und späteren Grafen von Taufkirchen-Guttenburg, die ihren Stammsitz in Taufkirchen hatten und vom Spätmittelalter bis in das 19. Jahrhundert als Grund- und Gerichtsherren eine wichtige Rolle spielten. Um Verwechslungen mit ähnlichen Wappen zu vermeiden, wurde der Fuchs aus der Helmzier des Taufkirchen-Wappens in das untere Feld aufgenommen.
