Object history
Deutsch: Das Mühlrad stammt aus dem Wappen der Thaininger (Thaimer), die im Hochmittelalter als herzogliche Dienstleute von Tayningen oder Taningen genannt werden. Das Familienwappen mit dem Mühlrad wird sich wohl auf die Schlossmühle, die spätere Hungermühle, bezogen haben. Die Burg der Thaininger war schon im 16. Jahrhundert eine Ruine (Ödenburg). Das um 1540 ausgestorbene Geschlecht hatte ursprünglich das Dorfgericht in Thaining inne. Der Dreiberg wurde aus dem Wappen der Stadt Landsberg übernommen und erinnert daran, dass das vom Herzogtum Bayern lehenbare Dorfgericht Thaining 1367 vom damaligen Inhaber Stephan von Schwarzenburg an das Heilig-Geist-Spital Landsberg verkauft und noch Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts vom Spital ausgeübt wurde. Die Pfarrei Thaining war seit 1379 dem Spital Landsberg inkorporiert.
