Object history
Deutsch: Der Panter im schräg geteilten vorderen Feld entspricht dem Wappen der Sünzl (Sinzl) von Söldenau, die seit 1613 mit der Hofmark Tiefenbach belehnt waren und auf Schloss Weideneck bei Tiefenbach ansässig waren. Als Grund- und Niedergerichtsherren waren sie bis zum Verkauf der Hofmark an den Bischof von Passau 1690 von Bedeutung. Die drei Tannen und der Dreiberg symbolisieren die Zusammensetzung der heutigen Gemeinde aus den drei bis 1972 selbstständigen Gemeinden Haselbach, Kirchberg vorm Wald und Tiefenbach und ergeben zugleich ein auf die geografische Lage im sog. Vorwald verweisendes Bild.
