Object history
Deutsch: Das rote Balkenkreuz in Silber ist das heraldische Wahrzeichen des Erzbistums und Kurfürstentums Trier, zu dem Waldrach vom Mittelalter bis zur Säkularisation gehörte. Das silberne Wellenband kennzeichnet die Ruwer. Die Tannenbäume weisen „redend“ auf den Begriff „Wald“ im Ortsnamen hin. Der Weinstock erinnert daran, dass Waldrach die größte Weinbaugemeinde an der Ruwer ist.
