El diestro de azur, una fortaleza en su color sobre ondas de mar de sinople; bordura de plata con la leyenda en letras de sable "Portus maris et terrae custodia". El siniestro también de azur, tres carabelas entre dos mundos en su color, movientes de cada flanco, sobre ondas de mar de sinople; bordura de plata con la leyenda en letras de sable "12 de octubre. 1492. 3 de agosto".
