English: Russian independent journalist Irina Slavina opposed police outrage by exposing cases of government corruption via her own mass media for years. She died on the 2nd of October 2020 after setting herself on fire in front of police HQ in the city of Nizhniy Novgorod

Она скончалась 2 октября 2020 года после самосожжения перед главного управления МВД в Нижнем Новгороде.
