Description

Seaman First Class James Richard Ward, USN, who was awarded the Medal of Honor, posthumously, for conspicuous devotion to duty and extraordinary courage on board USS Oklahoma (BB-37) during the 7 December 1941 Japanese raid on Pearl Harbor.
