  • the topographic background is an GMT extract provided by Lencer.
  • the shapes of the natural subentities of the Donau-Iller-Lech-Platte were originally provided by Johann2 but exchanged by Elop, referring to the following sources:
    • Verschiedene Autoren: Geographische Landesaufnahme: Die naturräumlichen Einheiten in Einzelblättern 1:200.000. Bundesanstalt für Landeskunde, Bad Godesberg 1952–1994. → Online-Karten;
      Blätter in Klammern haben nur kleinere Randanteile.

      • Blatt 172: Nördlingen (Ralph Jätzold 1962; 39 S.)

      • Blatt 180: Augsburg (Hans Graul 1962; 24 S.)

      • Blatt 188/194 Kaufbeuren/Mittenwald (Hansjörg Dongus 1993; 85 S.)
    • Die schmaleren Talungen Tal der Westlichen Günz, Oberes Tal der östlichen Günz, Oberes Mindeltal und Oberes Wörthbachtal sind hier unter 46.8 einsortiert, wie es Dongus 1991 entspricht. Zwar wollte Dongus 1993 rückwirkend jene Talungen den Einheiten 46.3 und 46.5 unterordnen, jedoch widerspricht jene Zuordnung den Kriterien der anderen Autoren; insbesondere würde auch diese Übersichtskarte zu stark zerschnitten werden.
