Summary

Description
English: Val d'Aoste (Italy) : a view of the Avise village, with its Saint-Brice parochial church (with a spire, centre) and its Blonay castle (visible on the right, with a crenellated tower). The Castello di Cré ruins are scarcely visible on the heights, behind trees. The third village castle, the castle of Avise, is not visible because it is placed at the western village entrance, so it is masked by the trees on the left of the picture.
