Object history
Deutsch: Im Jahr 1417 erhielt Ritter Friedrich von Seckendorff für Hiltpoltstein von König Sigismund Marktrechte. Siegel sind aber erst aus dem frühen 17. Jahrhundert überliefert. Die Schrägteilung ist dem Wappen der Herren von Hiltpoltstein nachempfunden; sie waren Reichsministerialen. Seit 1503 hatte die Reichsstadt Nürnberg die Landesherrschaft inne. Daran erinnert der aufgelegte Schild mit dem Wappen der Stadt. Die Farben sind durch Abbildungen seit 1691 bezeugt.
