Deutsch: Das vordere Feld mit dem blauen Schräglinksbalken in Silber gibt das Stammwappen der Herren von Pflaumdorf (Phlaundorf) wieder, die im Gemeindegebiet Rechte und Güter besaßen und bis 1408 das Patronatsrecht über die Kirche von Geltendorf innehatten. Das hintere blaue Feld zeigt mit dem roten Tatzenkreuz auf einem Sechsberg Elemente aus dem Wappen der Stadt Friedberg und nimmt darauf Bezug, dass Johannes der Pflaumdorfer das Patronatsrecht 1408 als Ausstattung der Frühmesse in der Pfarrkirche von Friedberg an den Stadtrat von Friedberg übertrug.
