Object history Der Wellenbalken steht redend für den Ortsnamenbestandteil -bach. Der doppelköpfige Storch ist dem Wappen der Herren von Wasen entnommen, die von 1387 bis 1528 ein Hofgut im Gemeindegebiet besaßen. Die drei Garnrollen weisen auf die Anfänge der Aschaffenburger Bekleidungsindustrie hin. Johann Desch, 1848 in Glattbach geboren, entwickelte die serienmäßige Produktion von Männerkleidung, indem er auf Vorrat genormte Zuschnitte in Lohnarbeit anfertigen ließ.
