Object history
Deutsch: Die Mauer stellt die alte Friedhofsbefestigung dar. Die evangelische Heilig-Geist-Kirche, die ursprünglich der heiligen Maria geweiht war, und der anschließende Wehrturm stammen aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Das Langhaus und der fünfgeschossige Westturm wurden um 1510 errichtet. Die Ähre und das Weberschiffchen weisen auf die einst wichtigen Erwerbszweige hin: die Landwirtschaft und die Hausweberei, die seit Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts einen wichtigen Nebenerwerb für die Bevölkerung darstellte. Aus ihr entwickelte sich die heute noch im Ort ansässige Textilindustrie.
