Object history
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde Happurg besteht seit 1978 aus den ehemals selbstständigen Gemeinden Happurg, Kainsbach, Thalheim und Förrenbach. Die Rose ist dem Wappen der Schenken von Reicheneck entnommen, die Happurg zum Mittelpunkt ihrer Herrschaft machten, zu der auch Kainsbach gehörte. Der Holzschuh ist das Wappenbild der Nürnberger Patrizierfamilie Holzschuher. Sie waren von 1621 bis 1909 im Besitz des Schlosses und des Hammerwerks in Thalheim. Das Schwert aus dem Wappen der Nürnberger Patrizierfamilie Kreß von Kressenstein erinnert an die wichtigsten Grundherren in Förrenbach.
