Neuchâtel District is one of the six districts of the canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The district capital is the town of Neuchâtel. It has a population of 53,744 (as of 31 December 2020).[1]

Mergers
[change | change source]- On 1 January 1966 the municipality of Landeron-Combes changed its name to Le Landeron.[3]
- On 1 January 2009, Marin-Epagnier and Thielle-Wavre merged to form the new municipality of La Tène.[3]
