Phoebe is a female given name. The name is feminine of the first name Phoebus. Phoebus is a name for "Apollo", and means bright.

In Greek mythology, Phoebe was a Titan associated with prophecy and the moon. This was also a name of her granddaughter Artemis. A moon of Saturn has the name in honor of the Titan.[1] The pronunciation of the name is [ fee-bee ]. [2] This name was ranked #247 on the US Popular Names in 2021. [3]
