Very, very few images or other files are allowed to be uploaded to Simple English Wikipedia locally. A good example of this is the Wikipedia logo we use, which is different from project to project or spoken article audio files for articles that have recorded audio of the page. Any images or other files that do need to be stored locally can be uploaded by using the Special:Upload tool. If administrators come accross other uploaded files they can, after checking it is appropriate, delete the file using the usual delete tool.
