Albert Oehlen

Albert Oehlen (born 17 September 1954) is a contemporary German painter. He lives and works mostly in Bühler, Switzerland.

Born in Krefeld, West Germany, he moved to Berlin in 1977. He became one of the most important German painters of his generation, influenced by neoexpressionism. His work has divided the critics on its value.[1]
