'Alex Turner (born 5 July 1986) is a British musician. He is the lead singer and guitarist of the Arctic Monkeys. He was born and raised in Sheffield. His father was a music teacher and his mother was a German teacher.
The Arctic Monkeys have released 4 studio albums, their debut entitled "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not", their follow-up album "Favourite Worst Nightmare" which was followed by "Humbug" and then their latest release was "Suck It and See" which was released late in 2011.
