American Staffordshire Terrier
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The American Staffordshire terrier is a breed of dog. It was first bred in British colonies of North America in around 1835. Its early ancestors are the bull and the terrier, and used to be called the Blue Paul terrier. In the 1930s, dogbreeders bred it with the Pitbull terrier and its name was changed to the American Staffordshire Terrier in 1972.
