Anita Baker (born January 26, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio, and raised in Detroit, Michigan)[1] is a singer and recording artist who has had multiple studio records with hit songs. She was born near Toledo, Ohio and was raised around Detroit. She received several Grammy Awards due to her numerous recordings, mostly during the 1980s, in which decade she was extremely popular.
