Azərbaycan Marşı is the national anthem of Azerbaijan. The original title is March of Azerbaijan. The words were written by the poet Ahmad Javad. The music was by Azeri composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov. The anthem was started in 1918.[1]
A part of the song is written on the back of the Azerbaijani 5 manat banknote issued since 2006.[2]
