Barbara Hepworth

Barbara Hepworth (10 January 1903 – 20 May 1975) was an English sculptor. She is considered a leading name in modern sculpture. Hepworth was a member of the the colony of artists who lived in St Ives during the World War II. Her second husband was the painter Ben Nicholson.[1]
