Big Timber, Montana

Big Timber is a city in, and the county seat of Sweet Grass County, Montana, United States.[1] The population was 1,650 at the 2020 census.[2]

It became the county seat in 1895.[3]

The Boulder River joins the Yellowstone River at Big Timber.
