Brian Edward Cox OBE (born March 3, 1968) is a British particle physicist. He is also a professor at the University of Manchester and a Royal Society University Research Fellow. He works on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Cox is the presenter of some BBC science television programmes. He used to be a keyboard player for the pop band D:Ream in the 1990s.
