Category talk:Native American people

Two things

There are a couple issues here... What do we want to name this category? I see two possiblities: "Native Americans" and "People of Native American descent". I would actually favor splitting it into these two categories. Also, some of these people are simply people with some Native American ancestry (i.e. Cher and Elvis Presley are not normally considered "Native Americans". Indeed, on his article on en, he's listed with under the category "American people of Cherokee descent", along with several other non-Native American ethnicity categories.
