Charades or charade (/ʃəˈrɑːdz/ shə-RAHDZ or /ʃəˈrdz/ shə-RAYDZ) is a word guessing game. A player acts out a word or phrase and the other players attempt to guess what the word or phrase is in a certain amount of time. The person who is acting usually pantomimes similar sounding words.
