Daniel Catan

Daniel Catan (1949 - 9 April 2011) was a Mexican opera composer. He is best known for turning the Italian movie, Il Postino, into an opera. He was working at the University of Texas at Austin on a new opera based on the Frank Capra movie, Meet John Doe.[1]
