Elizabeth Strout (born January 6, 1956) is an American novelist. She is known for her works in literary fiction. Many of her novels are inspired by her hometown of Portland, Maine.[2][3] Her best known works are Amy and Isabelle, Abide with Me, Olive Kitteridge, The Burgess Boys, My Name Is Lucy Barton, Anything Is Possible and Olive, Again.
