Etihad Airways is one of two major airlines of the United Arab Emirates. It was created by royal decree in July 2003. It started flying passengers in November 2003. Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, is the airline's hub or base of operations. Etihad Airways flys to 63 locations in 42 countries.[1]
