Exerodonta is a genus of frogs in the family Hylidae. Scientists stopped using this genus many years ago, but they started using it again in 2005. This was part of a larger scientific project to look at all the frogs in Hylidae [1] Archived 2007-02-21 at the Wayback Machine. Eleven species that had been in the genus Hyla were moved to this genus. They all live in south-central Mexico.
